Oh Krap!

Well, so I have this little list put together to keep track of things I have left to do. It all seemed so managable (ya, except that queen sized quilt that I'm still quilting). Then a little email from Theresa reminded me that we're each doing a project for a friend of her's that can no longer knit the "heavy" knits... like Lopi sweaters. So I've got a Lopi sweater to knit before Christmas.

It's a cardigan, and I'm supposed to be knitting back and forth. Uh.huh. I'm steeking that baby! I'm just doing the boring middle part (straight stockinette stitch... round and round we go!). As long as I work on it regularly, I should have it done in time. It just means that I probably won't get Matt's quilt done. But then, I probably wasn't going to anyway. It'll give him something to look forward to in the dead of winter.

So just to make sure I have some kind of photograph on my blog... I'll show a gratitious pet photo:

In case you're wondering, they're not actually looking at anything. They're just both staring into space. Ya, they're easily entertained.

I'll be working on a sewing gift project today. So don't expect much exciting content tomorrow.

Keep on Knittin'!

Aaaw, the pups are looking cute! Re: pilling, I used Galway for the Cables 101 vest and it's held up well. I also made a cream colored Aran vest with it, and had a bit of pilling as I wear it a lot, but a light touch with the sweater shaver takes care of it.
