Yet An Other Krap-tastic Picture Day!

Ah, rainy, humid weather, how we are tired of thee... anyone else craving sunshine?

Didn't get much done yesterday, as we ended up at a friend's house for a bbq. However, I did get a little bit done on the High Neck Cabled Tank (which I may have to rename, as I'm not doing the High Neck part, and I'm even considering little cap sleeves on it)

Actually, considering the lack of natural light, that photo isn't too bad.

Let me say that I'm really enjoying knitting this project. I've loved Kathy Zimmerman's designs for some time (she needs a compilation book...), but this is the first I've actually gotten around to knitting one. It certainly won't be my last.

The bottom ribbing and first cable structure is brilliant. Notice the lack of cable splay? It's brilliant, I say!

So I'm hoping to get a few more rows don on it today, with a few other things that I need to take care of.

Happy Knitting!!

Sweater coming along Very well! Email Kathy -- she's usually not in the store on Wednesdays, but she answers email regularly! kathy@kathys-kreations.com and her store in Ligonier, PA has that website you can access (the end of the email address). I'm tired of dreary and rain. My DH is tired of the rain -- it's messing up his outdoor painting some!

Kathy Z. is a designing genius, methinks. When browsing through the magazines I'm captured by the designs even before seeing her name. And wow, Cindy, she has a store in your state!? Have you been there? Hope the sun shines for you soon.

  5. Thanks for all the comments about the tank. I'm sooo looking forward to wearing it (and yep, I bet it would be just right for the Knit In in August)

I haven't been to Kathy's shop... it's a little over 4 hour drive as we're on opposite sides of the state.
