It's been one of those days. One of those good days where you run on adreline, even though you're so tired you can't keep your eyes open (or it just might be allergies).
Matt finished third today at Mt Nebo. This grueling race really benefits someone of Matt's size and power. The only disappointment? It was a cash prize... no trophy with a bike on top (this is why Matt races... he wants a trophy so bad!!!)
I have to say that I really enjoy the guys that Matt races with. They're all so supportive of each other and Matt has made some really great friends.
I did remember to take my camera, but I forgot the memory stick... which really makes it hard to take pictures). Matt's highest finish, and I don't have a picture of it.
So we hung out so Matt could get his check then headed home so we could watch the TT (time trial) in France (yay Tivo!!!). It was probably the only day in this year's Tour that ended predictibly. Floyd Landis did what I expected he would do. It looks like my prediction back in November was right!
For those interested (and I know you are) here's a great interview with Floyd (with a little help from Dave Zabriskie... an other favorite rider here. I'm sorry that he's no longer blogging. It was one of the funniest blogs). Now the question of the day? Do you think Floyd will do a wheelie on the Champs Elysees again?

Okay, so that's a pretty good day, don't ya think? Well, it gets better. We received a check from our electric company for the oven repair. How cool is that! (Sadly our friend Jim is still without power from this last group of storms. It's been since Tuesday.)
Now that's a pretty good day!
