Yes, there is an errata for this pattern. There was also one the last time I attempted knitting this (and it was different than the current one... so I've used different directions each time I've knit it).
So it's off to the frog pond. I really love the yarn. The colors are stunning and I really love the feel of the fabric.

So now I'm thinking of just a basic cardigan (box stitch?) with this yarn. I am disappointed that this isn't working out, but I don't want to waste this fabulous yarn or any more time on this when I know it's just not working out....
I love the yarn and the texture of the stitch -- it shows the colors off beautifully! You're right, though, that's way too much bias. I really thought *you* would be able to make it work.
ReplyDeleteBlock stitch would look excellent, but I was rather intrigued by the diagonal. How about a vandyke or ripple?
Been frogging a lot at my house so can send very sympathetic ball re-winding thoughts your way. --Sylvia
Sorry it didn't work out, but I'm sure you'll find something to show that lovely yarn off.
