...and Sam is getting a bit tedious. The grafting isn't a lot of fun, so I did half of it yesterday and one foot. I then tried to sew in the first foot and wasn't happy with how it was looking and decided to take a bit of a break.
Here's Sam's hind end grafted closed:
and the back view:
So I'll work on finishing up the legs and foot and maybe graft close the front end.
You'll never guess what I worked on as a break?
I will say that
Obsession Spring Forward is probably the prettiest pattern I've ever worked on. Every row I just love it more and more... Sadly, I'm going to put it aside for a bit more to finish up Sam the Ram.
Well hockey is about to start and I've got some grafting to do.
Have a great weekend!!!
Oh my gosh, they both look gorgeous. Are you going to stuff him with wool? Or put a zipper in his belly so you can fill him with stash yarn? ;)
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy watching your projects progress. Sam is going to be so cool!
ReplyDeleteI stopped by my LYS yesterday and checked out the Cotten Fleece for Spring Forward. She didn't have any pastels in, but is going to order some pastel green (Spryte) for me. I'll save the Shine for another project.
Gorgeous. I can't wait to start mine. Unfortunately, it will have to wait just a bit until I can catch up on some other OTN projects.
ReplyDeleteI saw your Spring forward sweater through your link you put on the Aran KNitting group. It is beautiful! Where could I find the pattern? I have been lurking on the fringes of the Aran KNitting group- I guess I should get on there and introduce myself!
